Development

At the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, I interned with the Stewardship and Development Teams as part of the Pathways program.  Working with the Director of Stewardship and Donor relations, I gained experience across a wide breadth of development tasks, including crafting a Year in Review Endowment Report, writing personalized letters to major donors keeping them apprised of the impact of their gifts, preparing updated benefactor information for the annual report and benefactor wall, and analyzing existing donor information to identify new and meaningful opportunities for donor engagement.

 

Marketing

As Assistant Curatorial and Registrarial Intern at Beacon Gallery, I helped to curate exhibitions, manage social media marketing and communications, interview artists, write blog posts, plan and host events, and update the gallery’s inventory management system.

One of my primary day-to-day duties while at Beacon Gallery was to manage social media marketing and communications for the gallery. Using hashtags and search engine optimization key words, I worked to increase internet traffic on both social media and the gallery’s blog.  Over the course of 4 months, I created Instagram posts, stories, and reels, increasing accounts reached by 469%, engagement by 39%, and followers by 4%.
